Ulster Industrial Explosives offer a complete, on-site service that delivers explosives directly into the shothole – producing more effective blast results.
By reducing requirements for manpower, drilling and waste disposal, Em-Ex 70 & 80 will enable major savings to be made in the overall cost of blasting operations.
The product is waterproof and can therefore be used in dry or wet conditions. Last minute changes to explosives orders due to water-logged or blocked holes is no longer necessary. Plant down-time is minimised as the time taken to load large shots is greatly reduced. Each shot is loaded by trained and experienced U.I.E. Operators thereby eliminating the traditional requirement for assistance to load shots. The use of non-explosive ingredients eliminate the risk associated with transporting packaged explosives within the quarry and there is no man-handling of cases or disposal of waste packaging.
