Ammogex
This is an ammonium nitrate / fuel oil blasting agent (ANFO) containing a nominal 5.5% by weight of fuel oil.
It is free flowing and consists of a non-caking prill of low density. It is neither No.8 cap nor Primaflex sensitive and requires to be initiated by conventional high explosive or strong primer.
Ammogex may be used as a low cost column charge in large hole diameter bench blasting, and also for the loading of small diameter holes with pneumatic ANFO charging machines.
Ammogex is unsuitable for use in wet holes as it is soluble in water.
Packaging: Strong paper sacks with plastic lining containing 25kgs.
