Environmental Policy
It is the policy of Ulster Industrial Explosives to conduct its business such that due consideration is given to the environment. Best practice not incurring excessive cost shall be adopted. The Environmental Management System implemented shall operate in accordance with I.S.O. 14001 and shall comply with all applicable legislation and regulations.
The Company shall strive to continually improve the systems operated , lessen the environmental effects and prevent pollution. To this end , realistic objectives and targets shall be specified. Performance shall be monitored on an ongoing basis and the system audited to identify trends and areas where improvements can be made.
Personnel shall be trained to a level where they understand not only what they are required to undertake but also in the implications of their actions.
Ulster Industrial Explosives Limited recognises and accepts its responsibility to minimise the effect on the environment.
