MPQC Awards - Explosives Supervisor

The Ulster Industrial Explosives Explosives Supervisor course has been run for many years and attended by the majority of Northern Irelands licensed Shot firers.

This is a five day modular course which covers blast calculation and design , control of ground vibration and air blast pressure. It also makes significant reference to the Quarries (Explosives) Regulations (N.Ireland) 2006 and those successful in the examination will qualify to act as Explosives Supervisors as defined in the Regulations. Candidates for this course must have previously sucessfully completed an EPIC Approved Shotfiring Course and should have experience in blasting.
An examination is taken on the final day.
Course fee includes refreshments , lunches , comprehensive course notes and the examination fee.
